Ecopia Worldwide

Ecopia Worldwide is bringing consumers an entirely new way to shop. With this gem of an innovation, the average, ho-hum, bad-for-the-environment plastic bag can be gone forever. The green, tapioca-based alternative to plastic is highly renewable & completely biodegradable.

Now that’s exciting.

Working closely with the project manager, I generated website content and slider copy that specifically highlights Ecopia’s unique solution to consumer plastics.

Nonviolent Peaceforce

Peace Bonds: Giving a gift that matters

Every Christmas Nonviolent Peaceforce raises money by selling peace bonds around the world to raise funds for their important work around the world. Nonviolent Peaceforce is an unarmed, professional civilian peacekeeping force that is invited to work in conflict zones in places like Sri Lanka, South Sudan, the Philippines and many more.

Their development office wanted to find a new way to engage and grow their supportive audience  while telling the story of the peace bonds.

After presenting a few ideas to the NP development, they set me and my imagination loose to create! I wrote the video script, filmed, edited and finalized all aspects of this film short.

Before the holiday season was over, the video was viewed over 600 times and Nonviolent Peaceforce were proud to inform me that they had sold a record number of peace bonds that year.

Since then, I’ve had the chance to partner with the brilliant folks at NP on several other projects that are due to premiere this winter.

Tech Dump

Tech Dump, a local non-profit providing second-chances for economically disadvantaged adults, was badly in need of a total website overhaul. Working closely with the Director at Tech Dump and the web programmer, I developed a web presence content strategy that would cohesively speak to Tech Dump’s diverse target audience.

The client desired fun, engaging, out-of-the-ordinary web copy that would compliment necessary SEO functions while still expressing the company’s lighthearted, personality-driven atmosphere.

Tech Dump is quickly becoming a leading electronics recycling companies here in the Twin Cities.
